История многих институтов Отделения биологических наук РАН тесно связана со зданием в Москве, расположенным по адресу Ленинский проспект, 33. Это здание имеет не только историческое значение (в нём работали выдающиеся отечественные биологи ХХ в.), оно имеет ещё и культурную ценность как один из хорошо сохранившихся образцов архитектурного стиля конструктивизма. В статье рассматривается история постройки и эксплуатации здания в связи с включением его в список выявленных объектов культурного наследия.

The history of biological science in the history of the academic building on Leninsky Prospekt in Moscow

The history of many institutes of the Department of Biological Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences is closely connected with the building in Moscow, located at Leninsky Prospekt, 33. This building has not only historical significance (outstanding Russian biologists of the 20th century worked in it), it also has cultural value as one of the best surviving examples of the architectural style of constructivism. The article examines the history of the construction and operation of the building in connection with its inclusion in the list of identified cultural heritage sites.
