Институт молекулярной генетики АН СССР первоначально был создан как
Радиобиологический отдел Института атомной энергии в 1958 г. и существовал в этом качестве до конца 1977 г. 2 декабря 1977 г. был подписан Акт приема-передачи Биологического
отдела ИАЭ им. И.В. Курчатова в состав Академии наук СССР для создания на его базе ИМГ
АН СССР. Впервые публикуется полный текст документов, относящихся к этому событию.
Они хранятся в Архиве РАН (Ф. 2003, оп. 1, д. 1) и представляют собой машинописные страницы формата А4.

The Institute of Molecular Genetics of the USSR Academy of Sciences was originally established as
the Radiobiological Department of the Atomic Energy Institute in 1958 and existed in this capacity
until the end of 1977. On December 2, 1977, an Act of Acceptance and Transfer of the Biological
Department of the I.V. Kurchatov Institute of Biological Sciences to the USSR Academy of Sciences
was signed to create on its basis the IMG of the USSR Academy of Sciences. For the first time, the
full text of documents related to this event is published. They are stored in the Archive of the Russian
Academy of Sciences (F. 2003, op. 1, d. 1) and are typewritten A4 pages.
