In 2007 the scientific staff of the State Darwin museum approved the program of the 200-year anniversary of Charles Darwin which was fully completed by the end of 2009. The program included one scientific and two museological conferences (international and all-Russian). The Internet-site devoted to Charles Darwin was created and there were nine thematic exhibitions about the creative heritage of the scientist.
