Статья посвящена обзору документов архивного фонда Евгения Григорьевича Боброва — секретаря редакции и соредактора «Флоры СССР» (СПФ АРАН. Ф. 1092). Ставится вопрос о необходимости изучения истории этого издания, которая отразилась не только в документах фонда Ботанического института АН СССР (СПФ АРАН. Ф. 273), но и в документах, сохранившихся в фондах ботаников — участников издания. Помимо биографии и деятельности Е.Г. Боброва в обзоре рассматривается история фонда, его структура, раскрывается содержание некоторых интересных документов. Из них становится ясно, что активная работа над изданием «Флоры СССР» началась с конца 1920-х гг. (первое время использовалась такая форма организации труда, как соцсоревнования, но вскоре от нее отказались). Годы Великой Отечественной войны существенно замедлили работу, и ускорить издание томов удалось только после 1949 г., когда к работе был привлечен широкий круг учёных из разных городов СССР.
About Bobrov’s Documentary Heritage in the St. Petersburg Branch of the Archives of the Russian Academy of Sciences (to the 50th Anniversary of the “Flora of the USSR”)

The article reviews the documents of E.G. Bobrov’s archival manuscript group — who was the editorial secretary and the co-editor of «Flora of the USSR» (SPB ARAS. Manuscript group 1092). The article discusses the question of the necessity of studying the history of this edition, which was reflected not only in the documents of the manuscript group of the Komarov Botanical Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR (SPB ARAS. Manuscript group 273) but also in the documents preserved in the manuscript groups of the botanists — who were participants of the volume. In addition to the biography of E.G. Bobrov, the review deals with the history of the manuscript group and its structure, and discloses the contents of the most interesting documents. They show that the active work on the publication of “Flora of the USSR” began in the late 1920s — early 1930s, and that the work was organized as “socialist competition”. The years of the Great Patriotic War had a negative impact on the work performance, and it only became possible to accelerate the publication of the volumes after 1949, when a wide range of scientists from different cities of the USSR became involved in the work.
